I haven’t done a Weekend Edition post in ages so I thought, as I’ve got 5 minutes to myself, I would write one! The last one I posted was back in June and we were away with my parents in the Lake District. That seems like so long ago now! Me and the boys are across at my parents this weekend which was been nice. We went to a Christmas market yesterday and had fun play with some toys.
Time is flying by and Frugal Baby will be 1 in less than a month. How is that possible?! His new favourite thing to do is pull himself up on the furniture and cruise around; he’s so pleased with himself and grins away. He’s also got the start of his first tooth peeking through too! That’s been a slightly tougher journey as he’s been very drool-y and a bit snotty with it. Still, we’ll soon be having a toothy smile 🙂
Frugal Toddler continues to thrive at nursery – he absolutely loves it! Not that he tells us what he does each day; if I ask him what he’s done that day, he just says ‘I don’t know’ and then continues to do whatever he’s doing. If anyone has any tips on getting your toddler to tell you more, please let me know! I’d love to hear tales of his day, but he just doesn’t say very much about it. It was Children in Need on Friday and he went in his pyjamas which he was slightly confused about. Looked cute though 🙂
Finally, it was the UK money blogger awards and conference yesterday, which I didn’t attend this year. However, I came runner up for the Best Frugal and Thrifty Blog, which I’m thrilled about! I also got to the final 6 (out of 86 blogs) for the People’s Choice award, so happy with that. I’m hoping to go next year, but we shall see.
5 things I’ve enjoyed/been grateful for this week:
1) Spending some time with my parentsÂ
2) Frugal Baby cursing around – he’s so happy with himself.
3) Managing some hot cups of tea!
4) Loving Instagram at the moment  – come and join me over there.
5) Ozark on Netflix – Mr FC and I are hooked!

And, in case you’ve missed them, these are the topics I’ve posted about recently:
– Life Update #21
– The Reverse Food Advent Challenge 2018
– Dividend Income October 2018

What have you enjoyed reading this week? Any plans for the week ahead? I’d love to hear about it!Â

Perhaps you should try asking the toddler specific questions about his day at nursery such as: Did you read a book today? What is the name of the friend you played with today?
