Happy Sunday! Have you had a good week? I spent Mon-Fri at my parents house with the two boys, which was lovely. We had lots of days out, doing different things. They had an amazing time and were shattered by the end of it! I’ve been on holiday for the past week so it was nice to have a change of scenery. Even got to the seaside one day 🙂
Though, with having a change of routine and not being at work, it has had an impact on my spending habits. I haven’t has as many NSDs as I would have liked, for a start. We have been doing things and creating memories though, which is so important. It’s tough to balance life and spending sometimes.
But, I’ve been filling in my trusty NSD tracker to keep me update with my spending habits. I definitely have a habit of spending on a Thursday, which is a day I’m not at work. Sometimes it can be a small spend but these add up over time. I feel like February isn’t going nearly so well as January did!
In fact, I’ll be sat this afternoon filling in my March 2019 Budget Planner ready for the new month starting later in the week. I’ve uploaded the file in the shop so you can get a head start on it too! I’m looking forward to a new month; I’m hoping it’ll go better then this month has.
5 things I’ve enjoyed/been grateful for this week:
1) Spending time with my parents.
2) Still plodding on with this book – it’s good.
3) Homemade chocolate cake 🙂
4) Having my hair cut for the first time in eight months!
5) Seeing Frugal Child digging and making sandcastles at the beach.

What have you enjoyed reading this week? Any plans for the week ahead? I’d love to hear about it!Â
