I don’t know about your household, but in our household we are dinosaur mad. I suppose having a four year old and a two year old with common interests will do that! So, dinosaurs it is. Along with Paw Patrol, but the less said about that the better. But even better is a dinosaur colouring page. Something that they can use to be creative and sit for five minutes or so. Although I always think that colouring pages are going to take ages, but that is not always the case. I suppose concentrate when you’re two isn’t particularly great.
So, we often do dinosaur colouring. Adding labels (the four year old) and talking about how all dinosaurs are purple (two year old). I have tried to draw a dinosaur free hand for them to colour in but it did not go well. Artist I am not. We also watch quite a lot of dinosaur programmes – if you have Netflix then you might have heard of Dinosaur Train. That theme tune isn’t half catchy.
Anyway, so when I had failed miserably at trying to draw a dinosaur for my four year old to colour in and label, I made one digitally instead, which looks so much better 🙂
So here is the dinosaur colouring page! Feel free to click on the image below and print it out – tag me if your little ones colours it in! My four year old likes to do the letters as a rainbow.
And if you’ve finished this dinosaur colouring page, then why not try this free summer printable too? Some more pictures for you to colour in 🙂 and don’t forget to tag me so I can see! I love to see the creations that you come up with 🙂

I have to smile. My two and a half year old granddaughter seems to be moving away from the Paw Patrol. At present she likes to watch Bluey which is a cartoon series made in my hometown. It is great to have a quality program for her to watch and my daughter knows many of the animators. Dinosaurs are huge her too. We have dinosaur books, pasta and toys. Little Miss calls them saw-saws.
Stay safe and well.
