Hello February! To be honest, January went past in a bit of a blur so it seems strange that it’s a new month already. It’s also the shortest month of the year! February should be quiet. That’s because we’re still in lockdown and I don’t see that changing any time soon, to be quite honest.
I’ve also been thinking about what I’m going to give up for Lent – I do this every year – and I think it’s going to be junk food this time. I have got into the habit of snacking a lot and just being quite unhealthy so I’m hoping that it will give me the kick start I need. Are you going to give anything up?
I am also doing a Frugal February challenge – as this video shows. Are you joining in with me? I hope it will help me get a bit more back in control.
My Financial aims for February are:
– Have 20 No Spend Days (NSDs)
– Overpay the mortgage by £100
– Put £500 into savings
These are all the same as normal, even though February is a shorter month. I’m hoping to work on my side hustles – have you seen my new Virtual Assistant Handbook? – and continue to build different sources of income. That will help with the savings aim 🙂
My Personal Aims for February are:
– just keep going
I feel like this is self explanatory; I just need to keep going. Things will get better, eventually!
Here’s to February being great! What are your aims for the month? I’d love to hear them!
