Hello June! I am not at all sad that May is over; I have really struggled for the past month so I’m glad it’s a new one. June should be fairly quiet (I hope) as we don’t have anything on. Just the usual work/home routine. I’m going to take it a day at a time and see how it goes.
I’ve continued to upload YouTube videos during the month – this evening my budget with me June video should be up, providing I can get it edited this afternoon at some point! I am liking it still but I didn’t realise the amount of work that must go into it all of the time. I know you could spend so much more time on it, but I shall keep this the same for the moment.
My Financial aims for June are:
– Have 18 No Spend Days (NSDs)
– Overpay our mortgage by £185
– Put £300 into savings
No change here for the NSDs; it is a quiet month so I’m hoping that I will meet it this month. I will keep it updated in my trusty NSD tracker our mortgage overpayment aim will be the same each month from now on. And lastly, a very specific number into savings, which will be the same every month this year, I should think. Plodding along, slowly!
My Personal Aims For June are:
– take care of myself.
When I get more anxious, stressed and generally “meh” in my mood, my own self care things go out of the window. I start to not sleep well (and I can’t even blame my 1 year old for this), I eat more and more rubbish and I tend to let other things slide. This month, I need to focus on me a bit more.
Here’s to June being great! What are your aims for the month? I’d love to hear them!

Please do take care of yourself, you can’t look after the others if you are ill! Then again this is my plan for the month as well! I HAVE to lose some weight, and get my health better.

You can do it; let me know how you get on 🙂

I agree, you must take care of yourself – if you slip into a pattern that is destructive to your health your body will resort to it at times of stress. It happened when we had a large building project and the builders disappeared for 8 weeks – it ruined my sleep pattern and then, when I was stressed about something unrelated I found myself waking in the night. Develop those wellness practices and techniques – they are worth their weight in gold!

I am working on it, promise!
