Finances wise, I’m aiming to have a No Spend September. So, nothing out of essential spending. I hope I can do this, after a ridiculously spend-y August. I haven’t even put anything in my Eating Out category, as I intend to have no eating out at all this month. No snacks, no coffee, no nothing! Eeek! If you want to have a look at my budget for September, I uploaded a video about it here.
My Financial aims for September are:
– Have 20 No Spend Days (NSDs)
– Overpay our mortgage by £185
– Put £600 into savings
I have increased the NSDs aim for this month purely because I shouldn’t be spending. Simple! I will keep it updated in my trusty NSD tracker our mortgage overpayment aim will be the same each month, as it has been for a while. And lastly, a very specific number into savings, which will be the same every month this year, I should think. Plodding along, slowly! Back to normal though which is good
My Personal Aims for September are:
– manage my time better
– get ahead with posts for on here.
I feel like I could definitely be managing my time better at the moment. Again, once we’re back in the normal routine I suppose that might seem easier. September is the time where I get back into my own routines too; both blogging wise and everyday life wise. This includes going to bed a sensible time so I’m not too tired. It’s a viscous circle. And finally, I want to get ahead of writing posts on here, as it really takes the pressure off. I used to be able to do this, but recently not so much. I am going to try!
Here’s to September being great! What are your aims for the month? I’d love to hear them!
