Happy Sunday! Are you having a good weekend? I have got a cold so feeling a bit sorry for myself. It’s not so easy to rest when you have children running around. Now that they can both walk, it’s slightly more chaotic in our house. And more fun 🙂 Frugal Baby can’t quite run yet, but he keeps trying and falling flat on his face.
We’ve had a lovely, quiet family weekend this weekend. The weather yesterday was a bit gloomy and I’m hoping we’ll get out in the garden today, or perhaps to the park. Somewhere with some fresh air where the boys can let off some steam. It makes all the difference.
We are also in the process and sorting through the millions of things in our household. I thought we didn’t buy a lot, but we seem to have accumulated a lot. The reason for this is because we have a meeting with our builder this week and all the work starts next week – eek! I’m so looking forward to it all finally starting, but just hope it’s not too stressful.
Finally, I’ll be sat this afternoon filling in my March 2019 Budget Planner as I’ve already had some spends that I need to update. I’m hoping that March will go better than February, and manually writing this down will help.
5 things I’ve enjoyed/been grateful for this week:
1) Having some time with Mr FC as he’s been on holiday this week.
2) Still plodding on with this book – it’s good.
3) Going out for breakfast – how indulgent 🙂
4) Watching Frugal Baby getting more and more confident with his walking.
5) Going to bed earlier and actually getting a bit more sleep.

The only plans are a medical appointment (meh) and a meal out on Thursday with OH and a good friend! (for my birthday), oh and I suppose I should get some clearing and reading done as well!

Poor you with a cold. I can relate as my youngest has been walking for around 3 months now and resting is not an option anymore!
Life is all about the small wins. I actually managed to escape and have a rare evening out last night. Though the 11pm finish made me a little more tired today – you win some, you lose some 😊
