Happy Sunday! How has your week been? We’ve had a lovely week, as we have been for a family holiday at Center Parcs with my parents. I love it there; it’s so peaceful being in the forest and with the wildlife. Both boys have had such a great time and the eldest one cried when we had to leave on Friday morning! I have got a post coming up on how to save money whilst at Center Parcs as it can be incredibly expensive if you’re not careful.
Talking of expenses, obviously we have spent this week. I managed one NSD on the Wednesday but the rest have been spend days. But, I still managed to stay within budget and bought some cash home. In fact, I’ll be uploading a new weekly budget update to YouTube later on this morning so don’t forget to check it out and subscribe!
However, I’ve been filling in my trusty NSD tracker to keep me update with my spending habits. Being on holiday hasn’t made this look great this week, but I’ll be back on track next week hopefully. Although it’s tricky when it’s the school holidays but hopefully I will get a few more.
5 things I’ve enjoyed/been grateful for this week:
1) Spending time with my family
2) Still plodding on with this book – it’s good.
3) Hot, tasted hot cross buns with butter on, so yum.
4) Watching my eldest boy grow in confidence.
5) Homemade lemon drizzle cake 🙂
What have you enjoyed reading this week? Any plans for the week ahead? I’d love to hear about it!
